Channel 4 brief for applicants to Dare 2008

The news that Channel 4 is sponsoring Dare 2008 has brought a fabulous opportunity to shape your entry to fit an optional brief set by Channel 4. The advantage of working your entry to fit their brief is that they will be taking a very close look at all of the games in that category and if they really like your game you might just end up doing a publishing deal with them!
We should stress that it is an optional course for you and your entry won't be diminished by something that doesn't fit their brief in any way - and it may even be that you submit your planned idea for now and if selected you can discuss with them during the competition any angles or tweaks that could help it fit the brief or create additional interest with them.
