Best of Luck
Benzino says (14th August 2008):
Well done on winning, i didn't get to play your game but it looked really good. Best of luck at the BAFTA's!!!
I couldn't see...
Neri says (9th August 2008):
Your promo video is too small to make out... D: However, it looks like lots has happened since I last saw the game, should be fun to play! See you tomorrow guys~
artwork
youswine says (29th July 2008):
looks really nice but i dunno if there's much else I can say. Good luck.
Hey hey!
Tom_Lincoln says (22nd July 2008):
I know things have been a bit bumpy for you guys, but this is one of the games I look forward to the most in protoplay. I know you have an amazing artist in your team, and I look forward to seeing his work in the game.
Hair!
kat87 says (11th July 2008):
Completely non-game related...
Love the new blue hair!
Plus the seemingly now official video ending 'and that's what we've been up to This week'
Oh, and the stars are very pretty :p
ee sonic
omochabox says (27th June 2008):
actually going for early mickey mouse but hey i take it only as compliments that you see it as very sonic team. in my eyes thats only a good thing :)
love me some billy hatcher, now that you mention it i totally see it. oddly the bunny ears were originally part of a big hat giff wore but i wanted to do more with the animation (tho probably subcontiously just wanted him to look more like jonny). 8D
mmm sonic
Main char
KungfuRaccoon says (27th June 2008):
Its very reminiscent of billy hatcher... Especially the hair at the back!! The dimensions of the characters are extremely sonic team... Especially the arms and legs. Is that what you were going for?
Looking Good
paintmebeautiful says (27th June 2008):
Loving the new art stuff guys,
I'm really looking forward to seeing how the game turns out. Can't wait to get my play on up in Scotland :D

Shadows look good.
HamSoles says (26th June 2008):
Nice to see shadows this early in the development!
Wii Remote
BlueSkies says (24th June 2008):
Oo nice :) The game can be played with a mouse or a Wii remote. We're only using the wii remote as a pointer, so we don't have to worry about any of its more complicated features. So I'm afraid we can't compare notes :(
PS - If you don't understand how the game is going to work, stay tuned its going to take shape over the next couple of weeks :D
The player can fold into different origami forms by pressing the (wii mote) directional pad, arrow keys (on the keyboard) or by clicking on the onscreen icon (The thing at the bottom of the screen of the Week 3 video). It won't be anything complex.
The game..
Amasanda says (24th June 2008):
I must be thick... I still don't get it.
Wii Remote support
Grumlaut says (23rd June 2008):
Hey, this is Graham from DarkMatter Designs, loving the game so far :-) I was wandering how much of the Wii Remote you had got working with your game, I have everything working in ours other than the speaker, I can send sounds to it but they only play at a crazy low sample rate (about 4khz) so I get a bad scratchy effect over it, just wandering if you'd had any luck with this yet?
Our Intuitive Control System
BlueSkies says (23rd June 2008):
Ah I'm glad you asked lgreen110.
Our current strategy for paper folding the main character will be:
To integrate cybernetic implants into the frontal lobe of the protoplay participants. Then we will supply them with paper or card so they can follow on screen instructions to fold into the different forms. After they have folded the origami form, the data will be transmitted from the neural implant (via bluetooth) to swiftly fold the main character into his new form!
Kev and Jade have been practicing the paper folding. So far... only the paper aeroplane has succeeded, but we still remain hopeful! I’m particularly looking forward to the Dragon and Sea Bass forms. 8D
We have estimated this will consume over nine thousands jiggawatts!!! If Dare are unable to supply us with ample power... we may need to turn to some unhand supplier of plutonium.
Or use something outlandish like a button press. ^^
Shhh...
mdfk says (23rd June 2008):
This game screams Paper Mario: P looks great though! :D Can't wait to see your next video, when it works.
Video Problems
jonnython says (23rd June 2008):
Sadly our last video does not play. We are however trying to rectify this with a new video. Stay tuned.

Confusing
lgreen110 says (22nd June 2008):
How exactly will one create different origami shapes? Do you not think that's going to be a bit complicated?
lol
NathanHornby says (22nd June 2008):
... Now you've said it ... :p
nyan?
omochabox says (20th June 2008):
asian what? i clearly ripped off early disney xD
Visual Style
NathanHornby says (20th June 2008):
It's a nice visual style, but there's definately nothing unique about it ... ever been to Asia? :p Traditional 2D sidescroller in a 3D environment ... love the contradiction :) Interested to see some video demo's, def. an interesting concept with the whole paper folding element, and in keeping with the Asian inspired theme. Let's hope it;s fun to play as well as looking nice!

omochabox says (19th June 2008):
more love for the english zippy
Voting gone mad! D8
BlueSkies says (18th June 2008):
We're honoured to be regarded this highly. But we don't feel we deserve 10/10 for anything, nor does any other team and no team deserves a one against them. Its far too early to write any team off.
Somehow we've gone from having a meagre 80 votes and a score of around 5.0. To having over 200 votes and a score of over 7.0! In just a couple of days 8S
So I can I ask for a little restraint and for some fair voting for every team, scorings of (4-8) seem fair and non offensive 8P
Oh and somebody vote for Team Caffine :S. Lacklan and stuckie deserve more!
Nice Style
Shawhir says (18th June 2008):
Hey folks,
just thought I'd say I love the style. A credit to the artist ;)
kat87 says (15th June 2008):
Yup, I am also loving the teapot!
Video progress
HamSoles says (15th June 2008):
Nice to see a video of your progress this early.
ola
Neri says (12th June 2008):
woo, the only team to actually have a video so far! I approve of the teapot action going on! Though you need diary entries... because I have nothing better to do.
IE - Rubbish
BlueSkies says (12th June 2008):
Ah its just Internet Explorer 6 on our workstations. :D
No need!
euan.fly says (12th June 2008):
Streaming seems to be working - and the video is looking good!!! :o)
A sensible comment
BlueSkies says (12th June 2008):
Hmm looks like the video format isn't streaming properly. We will create another one of our technical tests when we have a free minute.
Thanks Brian for fixing our .com main page :D
Diary entries with concept and design to follow..
