Week 8
Hey ya. Week 8 is almost over, and that means there's less than a week to finish our game!
On Wednesday next week we will wrap up the project, and on Thursday morning the development will officially be over.
Nevertheless, this week has been slow. Rockstar did stop by and hand out gift bags, and many teams were for hours in a happy awesome-induced disarray. But progress has been slow simply because we've had a feature lock since the end of last week.

We've been extra careful not to take on anything too big this late in development. This means we've focused on tinkering on the last little touches, improving the art, and remaking the tutorials in hopes of winning over that small percentage of people who don't quite "get" our game.
We've also been working on a new trailer now that we've got rid of the last placeholders.

The competition nears its end, and it's been a blast. Expect a more thorough post mortem report next week. But in short, things have gone very smoothly, and we've firmly stood by our decision not to do crunch time -- the project was designed with that in mind, and we're proud to see it through without compromising any quality whatsoever.

Protoplay is held next week, so stay peeled for the grand finale of Dare to be Digital.
We've kept an eye on the competition, and there are many amazing games out there. Only three teams will emerge victorious, however. Tense.
