Friday it is, and that means week 4 is almost over.
This week we have yet again made some significant changes to our core gameplay, and little by little we're getting the rocket jumping mechanic to feel fluid, interesting and easy to pick up. We've also given focus to the scoring system, heat mechanic, main menu, and the navigational arrow.
We have also gotten numerous little things out of the way: buttons, tweaks, camera movement, sounds etc. The theme music is now finished as well.
The graphics artist has been working on the promotional images for Protoplay (due this week).
Before we call it a day, we are looking to get our new score system rolling. It's also worth mentioning that two mentors from Rare are about to give us feedback. They gave some tough critique two weeks back, so we'll see how we fare this time around.
